Miranda Cosgrove playing Margo @ "Despicable Me" LIVE Interview_Jul 1st, 2010

"Despicable Me" Co-star Steve Carell interviewed iCarly starlet Miranda Cosgrove.

Miranda voices Margo, one of three orphans who disrupt Gru's plans to steal the moon. The project was a different experience for Miranda, who hadn't done animation before.



Yesterday, Miranda Cosgrove got to interview her Despicable Me co-star Steve Carell, and now he's turning the tables and grilling the 17-year-old actress about her part in the film.



"It's definitely way different," she says about doing animation vs. live action work. "I had a really great time though... It's fun, you have to put a lot of expression and all this stuff in the character, and I thought it was cool how they actually film you while you're doing it. Then later, they'll put in little things you do, so the character kind of looks like you a little."

Despicable Me opens in theaters on July 9.
